Operation of Liquid Line Magnetic Ferrous Tube Trap Filter Separator:
As liquids or slurries are pumped through the Liquid Trap separators, ferrous contaminants adhere to the magnetic tubes or magnetic bar. The design and construction allow the tramp iron to go around the downstream side of the tubes where it is safely out of product flow and wash off is prevented. The cleaning job is achieved by removing the top plate and removing the magnetic assembly from the housing. The housing is designed not only to protect the magnet but also to act as a sump, to reach the easy-clean and fast-clean goal.
